Tips for the best voiceover
Best speed for YouTube
Set speed to 0.90x–0.95x. Slightly slower sounds more professional and easier to follow for your audience.
Punctuation = pauses
Commas = short pause. Full stops = longer pause. Use "..." for dramatic effect. Makes the voice sound natural.
Best voice for tutorials
Use Sage (UK) or Aria (Natural) preset at pitch 1.0 and speed 0.92x for the clearest professional narration.
Spell out abbreviations
Write "N. G. N." not "NGN". Write "Windows eleven" not "Windows 11". Clearer pronunciation every time.
Split long scripts
For videos over 10 minutes, split into sections and record separately. Prevents Chrome cutting off speech.
Mobile tip
Keep your screen on and stay in this tab while speaking — switching apps stops the audio on Android & iPhone.
